Eating Us Out of House and Home!!!

Maria is definitely feeling better and Suzanna is learning how to eat different foods. When the girls first arrived home Maria tried everything put in front of her and pretty much liked it all. Suzanna didn’t want to try anything new and could even make herself sick trying any kind of vegetable. When Maria got so sick on the medication for her parasite she stopped trying anything new and didn’t want to eat much of anything. Tonight was so great. I made my lasagna that even has loads of spinach in it and both Maria and Suzanna had three helpings!!! They loved it! We are so proud of Suzanna, too, because she ate the tiny bit of raw spinach for her salad first without any complaining. She was proud of herself, too. Remember these girls are used to eating only rice and sometimes got chicken for a treat, so this is a real accomplishment!
